WHAT IS IRONMEN FOOTBALL

What is Ironmen Football
Ironmen football is a program that is deep in tradition and success. The core belief of the program is that, hard work and dedication both in the classroom and on the field of play will lead to success both on Saturday afternoons as well later on in life. Vermilion football has a goal of preparing young men for the challenges of life as well as assisting young men in becoming future leaders in the community.
The overall style of play is one that is aggressive and exciting for both player on the field and fan in the stands. The Ironmen will employ an exciting spread-shotgun no huddle offense that will put points on the scoreboard apply consent pressure to the opponent. On defense VCC will utilize an aggressive pressure defense that will force opponents into mistakes and turnovers. The goal of our style of play is to win, make the game exciting, and give players the opportunity to make plays.

"Find A WAY”
Ironmen football is built on a “find a way” philosophy. “Find a way” to a member of the Ironmen program means pushing threw a difficult situation and finding a path to the desired outcome. We believe that if you want something bad enough you will not allow anything or anyone to stand in the way and you will find courage to bypass barriers that maybe standing in your way.
